We are currently recruiting 2X Project Officers for our client based in Omagh. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed. Start date: ASAP Rate of pay: £19.59 per hour Hours of work: 9 to 5 Monday to Friday Location: Sperrin House Omagh. The application of the hybrid working policy will be considered. Travel to other locations in NI will occasionally be required. Key Responsibilities: DAERA Rural Affairs TRPSI, Health & Wellbeing Branch oversees the delivery of projects and programmes within the Rural Affairs Division, focusing particularly on the Tackling Rural Poverty and Social Isolation (TRPSI) Programme. This includes developing action plans and implementing approved schemes. to reduce rural poverty and social isolation by working collaboratively with partner organisations to support vulnerable rural residents and to address the needs of rural communities. Main duties and responsibilities of the post • Utilizing Project Management and delivery skills to manage TRPSI schemes in an effective and efficient manner. • Developing Scheme Business Cases, Fraud Risk, Equality Impact, Data Sharing, Data Protection and Rural Needs Impact Assessments, • Drafting scheme documentation including Application Forms, Guidance Notes, Procedures Manuals, Desk Instructions, Letters of Offer, and Risk Registers. • Ensuring appropriate scheme databases are in place to retain information. • Ongoing monitoring of Scheme(s) implementation. • Working with RAD colleagues to ensure the timely completion of post project and overall scheme evaluations. • Managing, monitoring, and reviewing scheme budgets. • Providing support to the Head of Branch, DPs, and colleagues in the TRPSI Health and Wellbeing Team. • Assisting in the preparation and delivery of any submissions, correspondence and responses to Ministerial, Assembly, Executive, AERA Committee, Permanent Secretary or FOI requests. • Accurately recording meeting minutes and ensuring the timely actioning of agreed tasks Essential Criteria applicants must have: • Good organisational and planning skills. • Project management – experience of liaising with different departments/ delivery leads to ensure work is delivered on time to a high standard. • Be responsive, open to change and can adapt to a changing environment. • Be innovative and able to suggest ideas for improvements. • Create and maintain positive working relationships to achieve business objectives. • Plan, organise and manage their time and activities to deliver a high quality and efficient service. • Good knowledge of using software packages e.g., Microsoft office. • Good oral and written communication skills. • At least5 GCSEs incl.
