Our excellent school in Hillingdon is looking for an enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team. This is a chance for an English Teacher to really make a difference, guiding students through amazing books and helping them write well, from Year 7 all the way to A-Level English.
You'll help students become confident readers and writers. If you're an English Teacher ready to inspire a love for words, we want to hear from you. This English Teacher role is key to our school's success.\n\n * Location: Hillingdon\n\n * Role: English Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)\n\n * Start Date: September (or sooner if possible)\n\n * Salary: Excellent, with potential for extra pay for leadership (TLR).\n\nWhat You'll Do as Our English Teacher:\n\n * Teach fun and engaging English lessons to students from Year 7 to Year 13.\n\n * Help students understand different types of English literature and how to write well.\n\n * Encourage lively discussions about books and ideas in English class.\n\n * Prepare students for their GCSE and A-Level English exams.\n\n * Work closely with other English Teachers to make our department even better.\n\n * Support students to develop a lifelong love for English language and literature.\n\n * Contribute to extracurricular activities related to English.\n\n * Be a positive and supportive English Teacher in the school community.\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\n * You must be a qualified English Teacher (with QTS) and have a degree in English.\n\n * Experience teaching English to secondary school students, including GCSE and A-Level.\n\n * An English Teacher who is creative and passionate about English language and literature.\n\n * Someone who can manage a classroom well and make English lessons enjoyable for everyone.\n\n * A team player eager to contribute to our English department.\n\n * A committed English Teacher who wants to see students succeed.\n\n * Excellent communication skills for teaching English.\n\n * A dedication to continuous improvement as an English Teacher.\n\nHow to Apply:\n\nForward your CV now to be considered for this English Teacher role
