Sheet Metal FabricatorLocation: Birchwood / Woolston, Warrington, UKSalary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum (39-hour week)Join a leading manufacturer based in Birchwood, Warrington, known for delivering high-quality engineered products and innovative solutions. We’re looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to support our continued growth, with immediate start available.Key Responsibilities:
* Fabricate thin plate sheet metal components to engineering drawings and specifications
* Carry out cutting, marking out, rolling, forming, and assembly of sheet metal parts
* Perform TIG welding on thin plate materials (approximately 50% welding / 50% fabrication)
* Manufacture pipework, tanks, vessels, and similar fabrications where required
* Work from technical drawings to produce high-quality finished products
* Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Requirements:
* Essential TIG welding experience on thin plate materials
* Strong fabrication skills — not solely welding focused
* Experience with pipework, tanks, vessels, or similar fabrications desirable
* Ideally 1–2 years’ minimum industry experience
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
