A great opportunity has arisen to join an international engineering and manufacturing business in their Scarborough branch, in a blended Warehouse Sales Support role.
This is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, problem solving and being hands on with stock, alongside building strong relationships with clients.
You will join a friendly and supportive team with a mix of office and warehouse-based colleagues, and you will work closely with customers on site, supported by full in-house training.
Some of theWarehouse Sales Support responsibilities include
1. Deliver stock to customer sites, building relationships with various stakeholders when on-site
2. Handle incoming calls and respond to customer emails promptly
3. Identify and understand customer needs, ensuring a positive experience
4. Go the extra mile to build strong customer relationships
5. Support purchasing of stock and general POS operations
6. Communicate effectively with internal teams and provide regular customer updates
7. Use IT systems confidently, with strong admin and data entry skills
8. Support the smooth flow of stock by preparing and picking your own customer orders
9. Receive deliveries and update records to keep stock levels accurate
10. Carry out routine stock checks and highlight any discrepancies
11. Keep work areas tidy, organised and efficient
12. Use internal systems to record stock movements and support operational accuracy
The ideal candidatewill be:
13. Happy inn a face-to-face customer service role while also picking your own orders
14. Able to drive and travel to customer sites in the company van
15. Confident lifting up to 20kg
16. Comfortable using handheld scanners, email and basic Excel
This is a full-time role working Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to, earning a salary of £27,000. You will also have the opportunity to receive a monthly bonus after probation.
