We are looking for a driven and dynamic Business Development Manager to fight for filter sales within the Automotive Aftermarket. We are looking for people, ideally one based in the south of the UK and one based in the North.
As a Business Development Manager at PURFLUX GROUP UK-Ireland you will be at the forefront of delivering our filter brands to some of our key customers. In this role you will:
1. Manage a portfolio of Automotive Aftermarket & specialist customer accounts including buying groups and large multi-site distributors and be an ambassador for all our brands.
2. Establish & maintain relationships with the key personnel within the target organizations such as branch & regional managers, parts advisors and sales teams.
3. Provide technical support and back up to our customer base.
4. Conduct garage and branch trainings, attending trade shows and exhibitions.
5. Work closely with customer Area Sales Manager & Head of Field Sales to coordinate workouts within buying groups & ensure implementation of promotional activities.
6. Contribute new product & sales ideas and provide feedback on market & customer developments.
7. Conduct joint customer review meetings with our Key Account Managers.
8. Engage with product management & marketing to deliver promotional initiatives.
9. Ensure the listing of new products within target customers.
10. Monthly analysis and reporting of performance.
11. You start from your home office and report to the Key Account Manager for your area.
Your profile:
1. Experience in Automotive Aftermarket and OES sectors is essential.
2. Technical understanding & knowledge of the automotive industry.
3. Experience of external customer engagement.
4. Experience in delivering customer training programs and face-to-face workouts at garage level.
5. Self-motivator, able to operate remotely and on own initiative.
6. A proactive approach with a can-do attitude.
7. Positive & enthusiastic with an exceptional work ethic to deliver results.
8. PC literate & highly organized.
9. Able to work away from home on a regular weekly basis; UK-Ireland travel is a major part of the job. Occasionally you might be required to work over a weekend.
10. Implement and manage projects with a clear structure from start to finish.
11. Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
