Primary Teacher

4. Rate: £150-£180 per day (depending on experience)

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a compassionate and skilled PPA Teacher to join a supportive SEN school in Dartford, working with pupils with complex needs. This part-time role is based in a Key Stage 2 class that follows the Entry Pathways curriculum, with a strong emphasis on play-based learning and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
About the Role:
6. As a Primary Teacher, you will provide engaging and purposeful cover for planning, preparation, and assessment time
7. You'll be based in a KS2 Entry Pathways class, supporting pupils with a range of developmental and learning needs
8. There is a real focus on play-based, sensory, and exploratory learning, guided by the principles of the EYFS
9. The school in Dartford is well-resourced, inclusive, and known for its strong, supportive team
Key Responsibilities:
10. Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons rooted in EYFS principles
11. Support a nurturing and inclusive environment as a committed Primary Teacher
12. Work closely with LSAs, therapists, and senior staff to meet individual learning plans
13. Promote communication, independence, and emotional wellbeing
14. Maintain a positive, flexible, and child-centred approach as a reliable Primary Teacher
Requirements:
15. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
16. Strong knowledge and experience of the Early Years Framework and play-based learning
17. Previous experience supporting children with complex SEN needs
18. Confidence teaching within a KS2 Entry Pathways curriculum
19. Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude as a dedicated PrimaryTeacher
