We are looking for a Trainee Account Executive to join us on a 6 month fixed-term contract, with an opportunity to extend. This role would be suitable for a graduate or someone early in their career who has a keen interest in politics and current affairs, and may be considering a career in journalism, PR or communications.
The right candidate will have strong writing skills, excellent organisation and customer service skills.
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with the opportunity to extend, and we are flexible with hours up to 36.5 hours.
Who are we?
We are High-Rise, a strategic communications agency based at Huckletree in the heart of Ancoats, specialising in reputation management, digital PR and charity comms.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Supporting with PR work for clients as requested and under supervision of the Account Manager, including building media lists, writing press releases and pitching to media
• Contributing to team and client meetings with creative ideas and approaches to secure our clients impactful media coverage.
• Writing blogs and case studies wherever required for the High-Rise website.
• Reporting coverage for clients and sending a CoverageBook at the end of every month.
We can be flexible on the days / hours that you would like to work, anything up to 2.5 days per working week.
Salary: £25,530 per annum (FTE)
Trainee PR Account Executive
Experience
Ideally you would have some PR, media or social media experience - but this is not essential.
Digital and social media skills would be an advantage.
If you have had experience in a customer facing role and are used to keeping clients up to date that would be useful.

The post-holder will be able to work from our Ancoats base and from home, as suits the needs of the role and the postholder.
