About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Spray Painter to join our team in Gateshead. You'll be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing and applying paints, and delivering high-quality finishes on a variety of materials.
This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, reliability, and pride in your work are essential.
What You'll Do
* Prepare and treat surfaces for coating
* Set up, use, and maintain spray painting equipment
* Mix paints to achieve exact colour matches and finishes
* Apply primers, lacquers, and topcoats on aluminium, stainless steel, steel, wood, acrylic, & PVC.
* Check completed jobs to meet quality standards
* Ensure safe working practices and correct use of PPE
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 1 year of painting/spray painting experience (essential)
* Good eyesight, colour vision, and hand–eye coordination
* Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliability and good time management
* Commitment to following safety procedures when handling hazardous materials
