We're offering a talented individual the opportunity to join our incredible team and get the most out of their potential – could it be you?As a Senior Project Planner you will be responsible for the resource planning of projects including staffing and scheduling of projects and work in close collaboration with internal functions. You will be a vital part of our successes and have an impact in us delivering our projects in time, scope and budget. You will be reporting to the OPS Services Manager EMEA.
* You will actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, define best practices in Project Planning and support the Lessons Learned Process. Undertake improvements in process along with the development of tools and templates.
* You will support Sales phase of projects with accurate scheduling and performance data. Analyze project performance and measurement using a range of techniques to demonstrate performance and forecasting.
* You will create update and maintain the Project plans throughout the project to ensure optimum project performance is maintained. Ensuring all planning changes are documented and recorded and develop plans if the project deviates from the baseline.
* You will collaborate with the project team stakeholders to create project specific schedules to the right level of detail for delivering the project using our existing schedule templates. You will determine key dependencies, constraints and ascertain that the project critical path is well defined. Additionally, you will actively gather progress information from the project team stakeholders including subcontractors and factory activities to update project plans, allowing for effective monitoring of the project and highlighting issues and delays to the Project Manager.
* You will maintain the project plans through investigating, measuring and recording project changes and deviations through the project lifecycle and report progress to the Project Manager and the wider project teams on regular basis.
Application Requirements
What you need to succeed
* PMP certification from Project Management Institute or relevant certifications from other institutions are advantageous (beneficial but not a must).
* 3+ years of working experience with Project Planning or Project Management, preferably within automation / intralogistics.
* Excellent English language is a must, additional language skills are a plus.
* Strong leader who demonstrates ability to act as a team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills
* Solution orientated individual with strong business acumen and organizational skills.
* An in-depth knowledge of Material Handling and General Contracting is a plus.
* Knowledge MS Project
* Office 365 suit.
* Master's degree in engineering or equivalent would be advantageous.
