We are recruiting for a Graduate Engineer for our Southern region.

The successful applicant will be working out on si te within a project team as a Graduate E ngineer in the Kent or East Sussex area. Guidance and training will be provided and this will be a great opportunity to put theory learned at University into practice.
Duties:
To progress the construction process and assist in delivering the project. To develop awareness, understanding and ability to successfully perform the key tasks and responsibilities and p rogr ess to Site Engineer.
Become proficient in all setting out/surveying techniques and apply this within the workplace, through use of the equipment provided, ensuring equipment is fit for purpose.
Manage setting out requirements on site, own time/tasks & self-development.
Communication with site personnel and subcontractors to aid construction
Manage site activities and c arry out relevant inspections and testing to ensure conformance of the works.
Complete relevant site records as required, including daily site daily.
Have a sound awareness of, and adherence to, the Project Management Plan
Work towards professional membership with the ICE and carry out duties required under your capacity as a STEM Ambassador.
With guidance from Senior Personnel, review hazard/risk assessments and method statements, including alerting relevant personnel to control measures and work methods therein.
Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures.

A proactive problem solver
A confident communicator, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of other professionals.
Graduates holding an undergraduate or masters degree in civil engineering with 1 year experience either in an industrial placement year or postgraduate .
Eligible to work and live in the UK without restriction.
Full UK Driving Licence and happy to travel throughout our Southern Region.
