Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant
Responsibilities
* You'll work across KS2 to run short, purposeful intervention sessions in reading, writing and maths.
* You'll provide 1:1 support, guide small groups, prep simple resources, and note impact so next steps are clear.
* You'll reinforce routines, encourage positive behaviour, and help pupils build confidence ahead of assessments.
The Candidate
* You're a graduate who communicates clearly, stays organised, and engages pupils with concise explanations and well-structured tasks.
* You follow guidance, use initiative, and keep sessions focused on progress.
Requirements
* Degree - A 2:2 or above in any subject.
* Communication - Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
* Enhanced DBS - Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
* Desire to work in education/with children - Strong interest in primary education and pupil progress.
* Experience working with children - Any relevant experience (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
