Complex Care Assistant
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care, among others. We support people of all ages, in the community and in their homes, with conditions like Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries, and more. Every day presents new challenges, and you'll be making a real difference in your clients' lives while developing your skills.
Our paediatric client needs support to live in their own home due to an infantile condition. You will help manage their tracheostomy, PEG feeds, medication, mobility, support independence where possible, and interact with their family members.
What you'll do
Provide comprehensive care and support to clients with complex needs, including managing medical equipment and supporting daily activities, while developing your expertise in pediatric care and complex health conditions.
What you'll need
Previous care and childcare experience is beneficial, but the key attributes include:
