Position: Business Teacher
Location: Nottingham
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary
The Role: As a Business Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and informative lessons to students, ranging from Key Stage 4 to Key Stage 5. Your expertise in business studies will allow you to deliver the curriculum effectively, inspire curiosity, and foster a love for the subject among students. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality and engaging lessons in accordance with the curriculum guidelines.
* Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Provide support and guidance to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Assess student performance through regular evaluations, examinations, and assignments.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate school-wide initiatives and events.
* Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with educational best practices.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Specialization in Business Studies or related field.
* Proven experience teaching Business Studies at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for business education.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
* Effective classroom management skills.
* Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
