Job Description
1. Oversee, manage, and document all day-to-day job site activities including OSHA safety compliance
2. Direct field personnel according to the project plan and supervisory principles
3. Communicate issues, events, performance, and progress daily to the Project Manager
4. Report any problems promptly to the Project Manager to facilitate the most cost-effective solutions
5. Establish effective working relationships with clients and team members
6. Request advice and assistance from the General Superintendent on matters pertaining to materials, sequencing, scheduling and personnel
7. Project Start-Up/Turnover Meeting:Identify pre-mobilization activities in conjunction with the Project Executive, General Superintendent, and the Project ManagerDevelop start-up schedule with Project Manager and send it to the Project Executive and General Superintendent for review

The Successful Applicant
A successful Traveling Data Center Superintendent should have:
8. Bachelor's degree in applicable discipline and / or experience relative to project size/scope
9. 4+ years of experience in related construction fields
10. The ability to manage and embrace change. Respond and adapt to new processes and new ways of looking at old problems
11. Applicable area licenses
12. Excellent team development skills and leadership abilities
13. Strong ability to partner with the Project Manager and staff
14. Committed to excellence
15. Self-motivated and self-confident
16. Must possess effective communication skills
17. Capable of dealing with ambiguity and tight work oversight
18. Able to constantly multi-task and handle competing priorities between business needs and organizational issues while maintaining excellent customer relations
19. Must possess business judgment to negotiate the critical balance between budget and construction processes
20. Excellent organizational skills to manage the many details necessary for successful construction
21. Must have judgment to know when to appropriately escalate issues up the chain of command
22. Excellent management skills to effectively manage subcontractor performance to high quality
23. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to take action confidently and decisively

25. Competitive salary in the range of $160,000 to $180,000, based on experience and qualifications.
26. Travelers will earn a 10% extra incentive on base salary for traveling
