What's involved with this role: Temporary Plumber x2 Reference no: Nuneaton 5248747 Pay rate: £18.52 per hour PAYE Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 This opening assignment is for 7-8 months City: NUNEATON, Warwickshire Must have PPE and tools for use A Plumber is required to assist in the provision of high quality and comprehensive Responsive Repairs within the Housing directorate. To be a key member of this essential team providing day to day maintenance repairs as well as void and planned maintenance projects. Must have PPE and tools for use. Key responsibilities: Ensure compliance with the councils Health and Safety policy, all relevant Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, Site Safety Instructions and all relevant legislation. Use own specialist knowledge and experience to establish and maintain best practice in areas of work undertaken by the responsive Repairs Department. Ensure complaints or comments from tenants and or interested parties are reported promptly to the relevant supervisor. Complete all works requested to a consistently high standard and at an appropriate speed. Assist and participate in the creation of an open working environment in which all employees feel involved and supported. Ensure all paperwork is correctly and promptly completed with any detail requested, and that such paperwork is returned to the supervisor or administration section as required. Recognise the ambassadorial nature of working within the homes of tenants and residents. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring tenants are made aware of works progress and work is completed in a timely manner, ensuring where possible works are completed on first visit.
