The Role
We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your primary responsibility will be to develop mechatronics systems that enhance the productivity and capabilities of our aerodynamics development processes for both motorsport and high-performance production vehicles. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will design, develop, and optimize solutions to address various technical and engineering challenges. Your role is crucial in contributing to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do
* Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing applications.
* Develop detailed system architectures and specifications meeting or exceeding product requirements.
* Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to create innovative solutions.
* Work with external suppliers to evaluate and select appropriate components and technologies.
* Conduct system-level testing, analysis, and debugging to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
* Oversee the delivery of prototypes and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, firmware/software integration, and testing.
* Prepare and present technical reports, specifications, and presentations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering with a proven track record.
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software integration.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
* Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
* Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
* Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred:
* Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* Experience with automotive, motorsports, and aerodynamics testing.
* Familiarity with system simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
* Expertise in CAD and mechanical design.
* Knowledge of control systems and theory.
