The Investor Services business is at a critical inflection point driven by regulatory commitments, T+1 settlement, and increasing client demand for real-time data and analytics. Current fragmented data architecture across custody, fund accounting (IBOR/ABOR), and transfer agencies create operational inefficiencies, regulatory risk, and limits growth.

Team/Role Overview

The Investor Services business is at a critical inflection point driven by regulatory commitments, T+1 settlement, and increasing client demand for real-time data and analytics. Current fragmented data architecture across custody, fund accounting (IBOR/ABOR), and transfer agencies create operational inefficiencies, regulatory risk, and limits growth.

What you’ll do

1. Enterprise Data StrategyCanonical data models (accounts, securities, positions)Golden sources and ownership model
2. Platform ModernizationReal-time / near real-time ODSEvent-driven architecture (Kafka, CDC)Lakehouse / federated query platforms
3. Regulatory & Data GovernanceData lineage, quality, controlsAlignment with BCBS 239, DORA, GDPR
4. Business EnablementData-as-a-product strategyClient analytics and reportingAPI-driven data access
5. Strategic Business Partnering: Collaborate effectively with senior management across Product Management, Operations, and Technology to understand their strategic objectives and translate them into effective talent acquisition strategies.
6. Program and Project Leadership: Independently manage and drive multiple recruitment projects and programs simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
7. Global Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage recruitment teams located across different geographical locations, ensuring cohesive efforts and consistent performance in talent acquisition and delivery.
8. People Management & Development: Adhere to best practices in people management, including performance evaluation, career development, and fostering a supportive and engaging work environment for direct and indirect reports.
9. Business Unit Contribution: Take broader responsibility for the talent strategy and recruitment success of wider teams within a specific business unit at a site level, contributing significantly to its growth and operational excellence.
10. Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber candidates for senior-level and specialized roles.
11. Act as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition trends, market intelligence, and best practices.

What we’ll need from you

12. Bachelor’s degree, or a Master’s degree.
13. Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in Financial Data, with a significant portion in a senior capacity Enterprise-wide authority across custody, funds, and TA
14. Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with and influence senior-level stakeholders in Product Management, Operations, and Technology domains.
15. Extensive experience in managing multiple complex projects and programs concurrently, with a focus on results.
16. Proven experience in leading and managing recruitment teams, including those in different geographical locations.
17. Strong understanding and application of people management principles, including performance management and development.
18. Ability to take ownership and contribute to the broader success of a business unit at a site level.
19. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

23. Continuing Education Support: Citi often provides tuition assistance or support for SVPs who wish to pursue further education, such as an Executive MBA or specialized advanced degrees relevant to their field.
