What You’ll Be Working On

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high‑impact projects from start to finish. You’ll tackle complex business problems, contribute high‑quality code, and collaborate closely with your team to achieve great outcomes. You’ll also help guide others and support their growth.

At FundApps, we actively champion your development – whether you are looking to deepen your technical expertise or explore leadership – we provide clear pathways and mentorship to help you succeed.

* You will use your hands‑on knowledge to advocate for improvements to the platform to support ambitious plans to grow market share and launch new products.
* You’ll play a key role in delivering projects from start to finish, engaging with stakeholders and helping your team work effectively to get the job done right.
* You will be comfortable slicing stories to minimise risk and ensure a consistent cadence, modelling these good working practices to colleagues.
* You will be able to proactively identify and lead cross‑team initiatives that lead to improvements.
* You are able to demonstrate solid business acumen and can have an impact across multiple teams.
* You are able to take ownership of projects and lead the team to successful outcomes.
* You will have an understanding of good practices and patterns of software and cloud‑native architectures and how to use them to deliver high‑quality software and add meaningful value.
* As a strong individual contributor you will plan work, lead the team in assessing risks and work with product managers to make project decisions.
* You will be able to share knowledge and best practices with the wider department.
* You value transparency and can communicate effectively, shedding light on potential hurdles before they arise and when the unexpected happens.
* Be‑Transparent: Default to maximum transparency with your direct reports, your team and stakeholders. Do so with respect and care, and you’re on to a winner.
* Have‑Courage: Lean into difficult conversations. Practice giving and receiving feedback often. Be direct and aim for compassion.
* Raise‑The‑Bar: Grow yourself by investing time in your skills and learning. Help your people improve and grow, and inspire them to improve their code, tools and systems.
* Do‑More‑With‑Less: Time is your most precious resource. Prioritise, focus and delegate.
* Work‑With‑Purpose: Be determined, be curious and think of situations that arise as opportunities for problem solving. Things will go wrong – we learn, improve and move on.

What You’ll Bring To The Team

* You are an experienced back‑end developer with a desire to work in C# (we would love to hear from you if you have a background in C#, Java or Python).
* You are open‑minded and adaptable, able to balance strong opinions with new perspectives.
* You see the big picture and help shape the company’s vision.
* You prioritise team success over individual output and actively support your colleagues.
