About Our Client
Our client a highly successful company in an interesting industry are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join the team in Guildford, Surrey
Job Description
As the Accounts Assistant in Guildford, Surrey you will be responsible for:
3. To ensure sales invoices are processed and managed accurately.
4. To input all purchase ledger invoices into accounting software.
5. Bank reconciliations.
6. Petty cash reconciliation.
7. To ensure credit control is up to date for all companies.
8. To raise all company sales invoices as required.
9. To liaise with companies as required, in order to respond to queries and resolve account settlement issues.
10. To process all cash and cheques, in conjunction with the Finance Manager, or in her absence
11. To deal with account queries as necessary.
12. To check supplier statements and resolve purchase ledger queries as required.
13. To check all company credit card statements and input into accounting software.
14. To send out all remittance advices and collate all purchase invoices for the weekly payment run.
15. To input general ledger journals as required.
The Successful Applicant
16. Experience in a similar role
17. Previous experience in an accounts role
18. Good excel skills
19. Attention to detail.
20. You will be organised and have good time management
21. Confident telephone manner
22. Strong Verbal and written communication skills
23. You can be studying for an Accountancy Qualification but its not essential
