Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for one of our Secondary Schools in Southampton, Hampshire. The School has an SEN base within the main grounds and are seeking support to work with pupils with additional needs. Candidates from creative backgrounds such as dance, art, music and sport would be great for this position. What you need to know about the school: The school support young people to develop their emotional wellbeing and social skills. As a Learning Support Assistant you will support the school to develop students to cope better with the things they find challenging whether this is during their school day or at home. Applicants will be working in a classroom supporting teachers and fellow support workers on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis with pupils and in small groups. The successful Learning Support Assistant will help establish positive and healthy relationships, emotional wellbeing and developing social skills.
