Overview
Working with partner agencies to recruit and introduce social awareness sessions, our hope is for young people to progress into further training, education or employment.
The Assistant Team Leader will work as part of a team to deliver The King's Trust Team Programme in order to achieve the desired outcomes and raise the life chances and attainment of young people attending the programme.
From recruitment of learners to the end of the programme you will be working closely with the Team Leader and other Groundwork CLM Staff to provide an engaging, challenging fun programme designed to inspire and motivate young people aged 16-25.
The role requires skills to be able to work in a fast paced environment where the tasks and situations vary daily but you will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference to the lives of young people. This role requires a clear Enhanced DBS check.

The King\'s Trust Team Programme is a 12-week personal development programme for young people aged 16-25.

We help young people who are unemployed or struggling with personal development to transform their lives. Our programmes give young people the practical and financial support they need to stabilise their lives. We help them develop key skills while boosting their confidence and motivation to enable them to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
* Deliver The King\'s Trust Team Programme as part of a team to achieve the programme outcomes and raise life chances and attainment of young people aged 16-25.
* Work with partners and Groundwork CLM staff to recruit learners and maintain an engaging, challenging, fun programme.
* Collaborate with the Team Leader to support learners from recruitment through to completion of the programme.
* Adapt to a fast-paced environment with varied daily tasks and responsibilities to make a tangible difference in the lives of young people.
Requirements / Conditions
* Enhanced DBS check is required.
* Based in Wigan (74-80 Hallgate, Wigan, WN1 1HP) with travel to other locations as required for meetings and delivery.
* Salary: £23,920 - £24,594 per year • Full Time: 36.25 hours per week
* Pattern of Work: 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday - Friday (includes a 45-minute unpaid lunchbreak); some evenings and weekends may be required; residential weeks may be required.
* Permanent Contract (Subject to Funding).
