Psychology Graduate Support Worker for SEMH, Allerdale
£90 - 125 per day
Full-time, 5 days a week, 8.30am - 3.30pm
Tradewind Preston are seeking a Psychology Graduate Support Allerdale for SEMH to join the SEMH School within Allerdale. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to support children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The successful candidate will work with a range of pupils to support their development, education, and emotional well-being.
Key responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils with SEMH needs, both in and out of the classroom, to help them achieve their full potential
* Working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop individualised support plans for each pupil
* Providing emotional support and guidance to pupils who require it
* Monitoring and recording pupil progress and reporting back to teachers and senior staff members
* Ensuring that the school environment is safe, supportive, and nurturing for all pupils
Requirements:
* A degree in Psychology or a related field
* Experience working with children with SEMH needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals
