Senior Finance Analyst RTR
Contract Type: 12 month Fixed term contract
Location: Luton - work pattern is 3 days on site and 2 can be worked remotely. Travel to site for customer meetings required (Gatwick and Liverpool)
DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business, is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst RTR to play a vital role within our Finance function, performing all accounting processes for their respective operation.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:
* Performing accounting processes such as month-end closing, reconciliations (e.g., Open Book Recs, Payroll Recs, Revenue BS Rec), fixed assets accounting, etc., across various sites, customers, or functions.
* Managing open book equalisations.
* Engaging regularly with site operations teams, Reporting team, BU FCs, and shared services to ensure accurate inputs and outputs for processes.
* Building deep business knowledge for the customer/sites in scope to support decision-making.
* Maintaining period-end and year-end closing schedules.
* Adhering to finance processes and ensuring timely, accurate report production.
* Participating in process improvement initiatives.
* Providing updates to the Reporting Manager on process status, issues, and escalations.
* Delivering processes according to KPI requirements and supporting performance management.
* Supporting change programs.
* Following standard accounting processes on and off system, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Managing individual workflow to meet deadlines.
* Performing ad hoc tasks and other admin activities as required.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
* Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements.
* 2-3 years of accounting experience in logistics or a similar industry (preferred).
* Experience using Oracle Cloud (preferred).
* Effective time management skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work well in a team.
* Strong financial and analytical skills.
