Senior Tax Manager
This is a brilliant opportunity for a Senior Employment Tax Manager to join a modern and expanding accountancy and advisory firm in Bolton.
You’ll deliver complex advisory projects, mentor a talented team, and help strengthen the firm’s growing employment tax division.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing client portfolios covering PAYE, IR35, and employment benefits
* Advising on termination payments, global mobility, and workforce reward
* Reviewing compliance work and providing expert technical input
* Acting as a strategic advisor to clients on employment tax risks
* Mentoring and training junior staff
* Supporting leadership with client growth and practice development
About You
You will:
* CTA, ATT, ACA, or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with employment tax expertise
* Strong technical understanding of UK employment tax legislation
* Exceptional communication and leadership skills
* Analytical thinker with commercial awareness
* Collaborative, proactive, and client-focused
* Driven to succeed — passionate about progression and delivering results
