We’re looking for a commercially driven Recruitment Business Development Manager with a proven track record in recruitment sales and a strong industry network. This is your chance to be in early, influence the direction of the business, and grow with us as we scale.
The Role
This is a blended role combining business development, account management, and hands-on commercial support.
You’ll be responsible for converting first-stage meetings into long-term partnerships, generating your own pipeline, and building strong client relationships. Once clients are onboarded, you’ll remain closely involved - acting as a trusted account lead to ensure value is delivered, relationships are nurtured, and opportunities for growth are identified.
You’ll manage the full commercial lifecycle - from prospecting to negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing account management - with support from the wider TalentFix delivery and technology stack.
TalentFix will be investing heavily in marketing to generate first-stage meetings and warm opportunities - but you’ll also need the experience and drive to build your own pipeline and activity. You’ll be supported with significant training in marketing systems and marketing automation outreach, equipping you to maximise every opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Growth - Convert marketing-sourced and self-sourced leads into contracted clients - Build and leverage your recruitment industry network to open doors and accelerate growth - Drive annualised contract revenue and contribute directly to business growth
Account Management & Client Success - Act as the primary point of contact for key client accounts - Manage relationships from first meeting through onboarding and ongoing delivery - Ensure clients fully understand and adopt the TalentFix model - Identify expansion, renewal, and long-term partnership opportunities
Operational & Commercial Support - Provide hands-on commercial and operational support during early-stage client engagements - Work closely with delivery, product, and technology teams to ensure smooth execution - Feed client insight back into the business to improve proposition, processes, and tooling
What We’re Looking For
* Proven background in recruitment sales, business development, or account management
* Strong recruitment sector network, particularly with hiring managers and decision-makers
* Track record of converting meetings into contracted business
* Ability to generate your own pipeline and activity, alongside marketing support
* Gravitas, credibility, and commercial acumen with senior stakeholders
* Entrepreneurial mindset - motivated by being one of the first hires in a startup

What You’ll Get
* Base salary £30,000–£40,000 (OTE £60,000–£70,000)
