We’re working with an upper tiers London Employment team that quietly sits at the very top of the market. This is a group with a genuine Upper Tiers reputation, advising some of the most recognisable names.
They are now looking to bring in a Senior Employment Associate who wants exposure to complex, high-quality work while still being part of a collaborative and well-supported team.
If you enjoy technical challenge, client-facing responsibility and work that genuinely shapes businesses, this role will keep you interested.
What you’ll be doing:

Advising employers on a broad range of employment matters, with a strong focus on financial services clients
*
Handling complex contentious work, including discrimination, whistleblowing and breach of contract claims in the Employment Tribunal and High Court
*
Supporting non-contentious projects, including restructures, redundancies and TUPE, both in the UK and across multiple jurisdictions
*
Providing day-to-day employment advice by phone and email
*
Supervising and mentoring trainees and paralegals, and playing a role in their development
*
Getting involved in business development, client training and seminars
*
Contributing to wider team initiatives such as knowledge sharing and internal training
What they’re looking for:

Senior Associate level, ideally around 5+ PQE
*
Solid experience advising employers on contentious employment matters
*
Exposure to financial services and multinational clients would be highly advantageous
*
A commercial, independent thinker who enjoys solving complex problems
*
A confident communicator who builds trust with clients quickly
*
A collaborative team player with a flexible and proactive mindset
