Your Impact
As a Liquidity Regulatory Reporting Production Accountant in our Finance team, based in Manchester, UK, you will work in a hybrid capacity and make a significant impact in the following ways:
* Deliver liquidity regulatory submissions for EMEA locations, ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines and addressing ad-hoc queries.
* Produce and oversee high-quality regulatory returns, understanding variances and management information (MI) to meet reporting deadlines.
* Maintain a robust operational control environment with well-documented reviews, checklists, and procedures.
* Collaborate with financial controllers across EMEA and various business areas, including Corporate Treasury, Risk, Compliance, and Legal.
* Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while acting as a role model within the EMEA Finance Professional Service Centre.
* Review internal liquidity reporting and support business management with daily monitoring of submissions.
* Assist with regulatory change projects, providing advisory support on business changes and compliance with new rules.
* Stay updated on legislative and regulatory developments, maintaining knowledge of external reporting requirements.
* Perform additional functions as required to support the team.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, we’re seeking candidates who possess the following:
* Part Qualified / Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent preferred).
* Experience in Regulatory Reporting / Financial Services, particularly in liquidity or treasury reporting.
* Management or supervisory experience, with a focus on team collaboration and constructive feedback.
* Background in process improvement, change management, and controls within a complex global environment.
* Proficiency in accounting systems and processes, with advanced Excel skills.
* Organized, detail-oriented, and highly motivated with an inquisitive mindset.
* Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, multi-national organization.
* A strong willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, including communication and planning.
