We are seeking an experienced, hardware-focused Electronics Engineer to join our client's collaborative team of hardware and software engineers. You will take responsibility for the design, development, and testing of electronic hardware from initial specification through to production, while supporting colleagues and maintaining strong communication with customers. All engineering roles at the business are customer-facing, offering a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with direct client engagement. Key Responsibilities • Design, prototype, and simulate hardware to ensure high first-pass success rates on A-model designs. • Develop and manage complex electronic hardware designs, including schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout (typically 2–8 layers, mixed-signal). • Work with a range of technologies including MCU/MPU, RF systems, DC-DC and AC-DC power, analog sensors, digital logic, FPGAs, and memory devices. • Validate, test, and debug hardware using lab equipment; travel to external test facilities when required. • Apply Design for Testability (DFT), Design for Manufacture (DFM), and Design for Production (DFP) principles throughout the product lifecycle. • Review electronics designs against industry best practices and provide clear, high-quality documentation. • Offer technical guidance to customers, supporting their problem-solving and development needs. • Communicate...
