Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a PE Backed B2B Services business, seeking an exceptional Finance Director to join as a strategic partner to the executive team. This role will be instrumental in shaping financial strategy, driving operational efficiency, and supporting the business ambitious growth plans.
The Finance Director will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimising financial performance. The role involves leading the finance function, managing complex projects, and working closely with the business to align financial objectives with wider strategic goals.
This opportunity would suit an ambitious candidate on an upward trajectory, taking a step up into their first autonomous FD role and joining a PE-backed business with real potential for value creation.
The Ideal Candidate:
* A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
* Experience as a Finance Director, Group Financial Controller, or Head of Finance in a B2B project-based business.
* Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with strong commercial acumen.
* A hands-on leader with a track record of scaling businesses and driving transformation.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders and influence decision-making at the highest level.
