Overview
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Property Manager to join our team at Cooper Hirst.
Cooper Hirst is a long established lettings, property and block management company based in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will be responsible for duties relating to all aspects of property management, letting and some sales.
Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with tenants, property owners and vendors
* Arranging and conducting property viewings.
* Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies.
* Negotiating security deposit returns with tenants and landlords .
* Marketing properties across digital platforms.
* Negotiating annual rent reviews
* Property valuations prior to marketing.
* Handle enquiries and resolve issues promptly
* Ensuring the company's adherence to all relevant legislation
* Overseeing all aspects of a new tenancy, including referencing, check in/check out and receipt of all necessary funds
* Working days/hours to be agreed with successful candidate but will include Saturday working until 1pm.
Requirements
* Lettings and property experience essential
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Computer literate
* Customer service experience
* A strong understanding of the current and upcoming legislation regarding the sales and letting processes
* A comprehensive understanding of the property market
* you must hold a valid driving licence
This is an unusual opportunity for an experienced person to join our well established residential lettings and property management company.
