Our client is a well-established international trading company, supplying specialist equipment to leading businesses across a wide range of industry sectors, such as energy, mining, and oil & gas across the globe.
The Role
To join their international sales team, they are currently wish to recruit either an Italian, German, Korean or Japanese speaking Sales Engineer. In this role, you will manage sales relationships with global clients, particularly in the energy, mining, and oil & gas sectors. You will act as a dedicated partner, managing the complete requisition-to-payment cycle for international operations.
Your typical job responsibilities will include:
* Reviewing sales and client project specifications to identify the most suitable product offerings for clients
* Collaborating with engineers and global suppliers to procure high-spec mechanical equipment and specialized components
* Managing the sales process, including preparing detailed proposals and ensuring they meet both client specs and budgetary constraints.
* Client Relationship Management: Acting as a single point of contact for engineers
Candidate Profile, Skills and Background
* Fluent in either Italian, German, Korean or Japanese
* Previous sales / account management experience
* Ideally educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field but all backgrounds considered
* Strong sales negotiation skills and the ability to persuade clients that a proposed technical solution offers the best value in terms of price and quality
* Experience with tools like SolidWorks or CAD for reverse engineering applications is desirable but not essential
* You must be tenacious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-pressure, target-driven environment
* Must have full right to live and work in the UK - visa sponsorship is not available.
Salary, Benefits and Working Hours
c£40,000 base
