The role:
As a Process Engineer II, you will help drive our goals by:
1. Promote and maintain high environmental, health, and safety standards, conducting risk assessments and participating in incident investigations.
2. Develop, improve, and monitor hydrometallurgical processes through data analysis, experimental work (bench, pilot, and plant scale), and issue resolution.
3. Provide process expertise for HAZOP studies, Process Hazard Reviews, and support capital projects with technical input, trials, and data collection.
4. Contribute to commissioning activities for new and existing plants, collaborating with production teams, customers, and technology partners.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
5. Degree or higher (Master’s/PhD) in Chemical Engineering or related field, with experience in chemical plant operations.
6. Strong technical expertise in process design, analysis, and safety — including heat and mass balances, P&IDs/PFDs, hazard studies, and EH&S.
7. Proficient in data-driven problem solving using statistical analysis, SPC, and methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean, with a track record of practical and innovative solutions.
8. Demonstrates authenticity, high energy, and business awareness while building strategic relationships, communicating effectively, delegating responsibly, and delivering innovative, practical solutions.
