KS1 & KS2 Teaching Assistant – Beeston & Chilwell (Nottingham)Location: Beeston & Chilwell, NottinghamshirePosition: Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2 Teaching AssistantContract Type: Full-time / Part-time Start Date: AprilAbout the Role We are looking for a motivated and reliable Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in schools based in the Beeston and Chilwell areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a range of year groups, supporting children’s academic progress and overall development.Key Responsibilities
* Support teaching and learning in Years 1–6
* Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning
* Assist with core subjects including reading, writing, and maths
* Provide targeted support for pupils who need additional help
* Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Experience working with primary-aged children (KS1 and/or KS2)
* A positive, patient, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Basic understanding of the primary curriculum
* Relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3) – desirable
