Purpose of the job:
This key role within the laminating department involves assisting the Kit-Cutting and Laminating supervisor with smooth operations, ongoing training, reducing scrap rates, and addressing quality issues. The role includes managing, motivating, and training the cell to perform at their best and meet company expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Responsibilities
* Responsible for all mould checks before laminating and sign-off
* Check off first plies for assigned operatives
* Check off bags before loading into autoclave for assigned operatives
* Ensure all paperwork is completed by operatives
* Attend handover from Brackley for new parts assigned to your cell
* Report issues with new jobs immediately to the laminating supervisor
* Train the rest of the cell on new parts as appropriate
* Assist in morning break-out when needed
* Record job progress on the daily electronic job sheet
Quality and Standards
* Ensure understanding and implementation of department standards
* Maintain 100% plan adherence and complete job sheets daily
* Work to the highest quality standards with right first-time approach
* Manage daily needs of the laminating cell to meet standards

* Experience in laminating within a production environment
* Strong team player, supporting the Laminating Supervisor
