We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent, full-time General Assistant - Mobile role to join our team based at Stockport - Unit 2 - Kennedy Way
1. Hours of Work 37.5
2. Monday – Friday 8am-4pm
3. £24,681.00 per annum
4. Training will be provided
5. Driving license required, DBS will be conducted
This is a mobile role covering Liverpool & Cheshire.
About the role:
The role of a General Assistant is to deliver general assistant services to the required standard and specification; providing the highest standards of service delivery and working practices.
Key Responsibilities:
6. Timely delivery of a full range of services to include but not limited to:
7. Open/Close buildings/ Undertaking weekly tests, eg. Fire alarm tests/Litter picking, tidy bin stores
8. Grounds & garden – tidy, weeding, cutting back of shrubs, leaf blowing/collection
9. Providing access for contractors
10. Delivering of customer stock from drop off points within building
11. Patient wayfinding
12. Collection and movement of patients to and from wards, clinics and departments
13. Transporting fresh laundry
14. Medical gases transportation from stores and ensuring correct storage
15. Medical curtain changes
16. Undertaking a range of specialist cleaning duties including but not limited to; window blinds, clearing gutters, drains and gulleys, floor maintenance and where appropriate the operation of specialist equipment.
17. Small works or maintenance tasks in line with SFG20
18. Movement of drugs, patient notes, blood specimens etc
19. Internal movement of furniture and room preparation for meetings etc
20. Undertake bleep radio test
Ensure that grounds, pathways, car parks, entrances are clean and tidy and well maintained; including moving snow, light gritting in the winter months if necessary
