PSV/HGV Engineer/Mechanic – Plymouth
Permanent | 39 Hours per Week | £22.85 per hour (£46,339 basic annual salary)
Venatu Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced PSV/HGV Engineer/Mechanic based in Plymouth.
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join the team in a permanent, full-time position. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking operation where your expertise will be recognised and rewarded.
Pay & Hours:
Basic hourly rate: £22.85
Basic annual salary: £46,339 (based on 39 hours/week)
Overtime (after 39 hours/week):
Monday to Saturday: £28.56/hour
Permanent contract
* Shifts - 8 hours
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on PSV and HGV vehicles
Diagnosing faults and completing mechanical and electrical repairs
Ensuring all vehicles are maintained in a safe and roadworthy condition
Maintaining accurate service and repair records
Working in accordance with health and safety standards
Requirements:
Proven experience working on PSV and/or HGV vehicles
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (desirable)
Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
