Drainage ConsultantWorcestershire, UKPermanent | Full-Time£35,000 - £40,000Are you an experienced drainage professional looking to take ownership of your work, lead meaningful projects, and help shape best practice in a supportive and forward-thinking environment?We're partnering with an independent environmental consultancy to find a Senior Drainage Consultant to join their expanding technical team based in Evesham. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to step into a role where their knowledge of sustainable drainage systems and surface water management can really make a difference.You'll work on a variety of planning-led projects, producing detailed drainage strategies and designs for developments across sectors such as housing, infrastructure, and renewables.What You'll Be DoingLeading on the design of sustainable drainage systems (SuDS), including calculations, models, and technical drawingsPreparing Drainage Impact Assessments and Flood Risk-related documentationTaking part in client meetings, design workshops, and regulatory consultationsVisiting sites as required to collect data and assess drainage considerationsCoordinating with colleagues across disciplines including hydrology, flood risk, and ecologySupporting bids and proposals as part of the wider consultancy teamWhat We're Looking ForA background in drainage or water engineering, with around 4+ years of experienceProficiency with software like Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and InfoDrainage (or similar)A degree in a relevant subject such as Civil/Environmental EngineeringFamiliarity with UK planning policy and drainage guidance, including SuDS best practiceConfidence in client-facing roles and working independently on technical outputsFull, clean UK driving licenceActively working toward chartershipWhy Apply?This is a role with real variety, responsibility, and the freedom to contribute ideas.
