Are you passionate about making a difference?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer and Community Engagement Officer to join our dynamic team. This role involves creating innovative and inclusive methods of engagement to ensure that Stockport Homes’ tenants, as well as our wider customers and communities, are at the heart of our decision making and service delivery.
No two days are the same. You'll be instrumental in delivering our Customer Voice and Influence Strategy, partnering with various services to plan and implement meaningful ways for our customers to have their say. You'll also be working within our neighbourhoods, providing support to community groups and projects and collaborating with partners.
We are seeking individuals who:
* Demonstrate a passion for our customers and communities and thrive on collaborating with others to effect positive change.
* Are excellent communicators, capable of creating clear and concise information in various formats for our customers, colleagues, and wider stakeholders.
* Build effective relationships and can constructively challenge, with the confidence to influence thinking and actions.
* Can develop nurturing partnerships, actively participate in networks, and take the lead in project delivery.
* Enjoy working flexibly and on multiple projects, adapting to new ideas, and contributing to the development of services and community initiatives.
* Work well under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude while managing conflicting priorities and organising their time effectively.
With good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, candidates must be proficient in using a wide range of IT packages to create, record, analyse, and report on engagement.
Please note, applicants must be able to work from our offices in Stockport and around the Borough.
When writing your supporting statement, you must set out how you meet the role requirements, providing examples to demonstrate your relevant skills and experience.
If you are interested in discussing the role further, we would like to hear from you. Please contact Rebecca Sweeton at to arrange an informal chat.
