Job description
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join a dedicated Autism Services department. This role offers the flexibility to work either remotely or in Hampshire, supporting individuals with autism and their families. You will play a key role in providing psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations to improve the wellbeing and development of clients.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnoses for individuals on the autism spectrum.
* Developing, implementing, and evaluating tailored therapeutic interventions.
* Providing psychological support and consultations to families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Maintaining detailed case notes and reports in line with professional standards.
* Engaging in multidisciplinary meetings to contribute psychological expertise.
* Staying updated on the latest research and therapeutic practices in autism care.
Requirements:
* HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist.
* Proven experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
* Strong skills in psychological assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
