Business Manager – Sheffield Role Review Programme (SRRP)
Are you passionate about equality, strong governance and making complex programmes run smoothly?
Sheffield City Council is seeking a Business Manager to support the effective delivery of the Sheffield Role Review Programme (SRRP) - a high‑profile, organisation‑wide programme underpinning our commitment to equal pay and fair outcomes.
In this role, you will provide leadership and coordination across the operational, financial and business management activity that supports job evaluation delivery. You will manage systems and processes, and ensure robust planning, performance management and assurance arrangements are in place.
Working closely with senior managers, programme leads, trade unions and a wide range of stakeholders, you will support engagement, consultation and reporting, helping to ensure the programme operates efficiently, transparently and in line with Council policies and governance requirements.
We are looking for someone with strong business and financial acumen, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach. You will be confident leading people and processes, managing competing priorities, and supporting delivery in a complex and politically sensitive environment.
This role is Sheffield‑based, with regular attendance at Council offices and flexibility required to meet programme needs.
