Job Title: Programme Communications Lead

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Communications Lead with a proven track record in large-scale transformation programmes. As the Programme Communications Lead, you will spearhead the development of the communication strategy and plan for a multi-year, multi-vendor Strategic Transformation. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring effective communication, promotion, engagement, and involvement both within and outside the organisation.
A bit about the job:
The position holder will ensure employees understand Plan A's future growth, aspirations, and the transformation journey. They will keep employees engaged with ongoing changes, fostering a positive view despite the pace and scale. Collaborating with the programme team, they will translate build detailed plans for all communication activity, underpinned by a comprehensive multi-year communication strategy. They will optimize communication opportunities to generate excitement and engagement, whilst recognising and addressing delivery impacts and sensitivities.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. Strategic Leadership: Experience in leading communication strategies and plans across large-scale transformations.
2. Initiative and Innovation: Ability to take the initiative and develop successful communication plans.
3. Stakeholder Management: Proficiency in working with multiple stakeholders up to C-Suite level.
4. Influencing Skills: Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills in a complex, highly regulated financial services environment.
5. Proactive Planning: Demonstrated ability to take the initiative and develop successful communication plans.

6. Starting salary: Circa £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
7. Bonus opportunity: 12% of annual salary (actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s)
