Apprentice sales associate

Role and Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Sales Associate, you will help the store maintain performance and meet sales targets. You will build product knowledge, develop customer service skills, and handle all types of customer enquiries while ensuring outstanding service and a memorable customer experience.

Apprenticeship & Training

• Complete Introductory and Silver levels of the Signet Jewellery Academy training programme.
• Finish an Intermediate Retail Skills Apprenticeship, earning a Technical Certificate and Key Skills qualification.
• Receive ongoing support from an experienced mentor throughout the apprenticeship.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Interest in jewellery products and brands.
• Positive, can‑do attitude.
• Ability to engage conversations with a diverse range of customers.

Compensation and Benefits

Training salary of £7.00 per hour with additional sales incentives and a staff discount. For apprentices aged 16–18, the salary is the same; for other apprentices it is the applicable national minimum wage. Additional hours may be required during peak trading periods, bank holidays, and weekends.
