Head of Engineering (Hotel) About The Ned The Ned and Ned's Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time. The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Ned's Club, a private members' space, gym and rooftop, alongside a public spa, ten restaurants and bars, and 250 hotel bedrooms. Reporting into the Engineering and Facilities Director, you will: Take full ownership of hotel engineering operations, leading a multi-skilled team to maintain the building, plant and systems to the highest possible standard Balance operational excellence with guest experience, ensuring maintenance issues are resolved quickly, professionally and with minimal disruption Plan, prioritise and oversee preventative, reactive and emergency maintenance across the hotel, ensuring assets are maintained efficiently and cost-effectively and documented and records maintained. You'll have strong technical knowledge across mechanical and electrical systems, combined with the leadership skills to manage, motivate and develop a diverse engineering team. You know how to prioritise, make sound decisions under pressure and keep standards high, even when the pace is relentless. You'll be organised, detail-focused and commercially aware, with confidence managing compliance, safety and asset performance without losing sight of the guest experience.
