This feels like a good fit for someone either stepping into their first FC role or wanting more ownership in a smaller environment About the job: Take full ownership of the finance function, driving accuracy, efficiency, and robust financial controls Partner with the sales team on pricing and customer packages, ensuring commercial viability Set and monitor performance against KPIs, providing clear insight to support business performance Lead budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, and financial modelling to support decision-making Deliver timely, insightful monthly management accounts and statutory reporting Lead, develop, and mentor a small finance team, building capability and accountability Manage key external relationships including banking, insurance, and professional advisors Oversee R&D tax credits and identify opportunities to maximise available funding and grants Manage the year-end audit process and ensure full compliance across VAT, PAYE, payroll, and statutory returns About you: Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) Proven financial leadership experience with strong reporting expertise. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams while managing complex stakeholder relationships.
