£14.00 PER HOUR
People Solutions have an exciting opportunity to join our client who is a well-established company in Wigan, looking for Wood Machinists.
You need to be motivated and driven and have the desire to learn new skills.

Day to Day Duties
Cutting of raw materials to specifications.
Using machinery and tools and ensuring that all products meet the required specifications
Using maths skills to follow specification sheets
Setting up and operating machinery
Keeping records and maintaining equipment
Adept with use of power tools (saw, bench saw, multi-rip saw)
Maintaining health and safety guidelines
Essential Skills
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Advanced attention to detail
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Maths skills
Previous experience using hand and power tools
Experience as working as a machine operator is required, ideally working with wood
Training
Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
