Job Description
We're looking for a claims handler to join our Employment team in Nottingham.
Role
As a claims handler, you play an important part in supporting our professional indemnity insurer client and the wider team. Your main focus is to resolve claims efficiently and fairly, always reflecting our client’s brand values. You will investigate claims, assess policy coverage, and decide on the best approach for resolution. Building strong relationships with policyholders, brokers, and lawyers is central to the role, as is keeping everyone updated throughout the process. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate records and managing your caseload proactively.
Responsibilities

* Build and maintain strong relationships with policyholders, brokers, and lawyers.
Qualifications
* Previous claims handling or insurance experience helpful (not essential).
* Knowledge of employment law is a plus.
* Analytical, methodical, keen to learn, comfortable making decisions.
* Degree or insurance qualifications preferred.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ambition.
