Job Details
* Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt)
* Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
* Pay Range: $16.00 – $19.00/hour (based on skills and experience)
* Shift Premium: +$2.00/hour for 2nd Shift
* Work Location: 905 S Jackson St, Mount Carroll, IL 61053
* Reports To: Production Supervisor
Your Key Responsibilities
* Operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to technical specifications.
* Ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements through inspection and measurement.
* Perform minor troubleshooting and make routine equipment adjustments as needed.
* Read and interpret blueprints and use basic measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
* Maintain accurate documentation and production records.
* Keep your work area clean and organized following 5S standards.
* Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
* Assist with other duties as assigned to support team and production goals.
What We’re Looking For
* Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
* Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork mindset.
* Basic computer and math skills.
Required Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Prior industrial or manufacturing experience preferred.
* Demonstrated stable work history with minimal employment gaps.
* Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
Physical Requirements
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
* Required to stand for extended periods.
* Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
* Frequent bending and stooping required.
* Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
* Must be able to work in noisy environments.
