Financial controller - temp to perm

My client is seeking a Qualified Financial Controller to play a key commercial and business-facing role. Reporting to the Finance Director, youll lead the finance team and act as a trusted partner to both internal stakeholders and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and develop the finance team (6 direct reports, 6 indirect).
* Act as the financial lead on key customer relationships.
* Build and present complex Excel models in a clear, customer-friendly way.Provide financial insight and support to Operations to improve profitability and ensure revenue accuracy.
* Review and strengthen systems, processes, and internal controls.
* Oversee the production of monthly management accounts.
* Manage statutory accounts and the external audit process.
* Ensure effective cash management, including invoice discounting, asset finance, leasing, forecasting, and banking relationships.
