The Vacancy
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team as a Retail Shop Keyholder at our Nailsea shop.
A role as a Retail Shop Keyholder will help you develop a wide range of skills that you can take with you throughout your career.
You will receive full training and be supported by experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly managers and team members.

The details:
* Salary: from £24,460 - £25,047 (FTE) per year, equivalent to £12.51 to £12.81 per hour
* Working 15 hours per week, 2 in 6 days
What we are looking for:
* Excellent communication and organisational skills with a proactive approach
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
* A genuine interest in home wear, furniture, second hand, and charity retail
* Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
* Open and adaptable to change and able to support others through it
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* IT literacy and numeracy skills, including using email systems, online resources, and basic spreadsheets
* Previous retail experience would be useful but not essential
Key responsibilities:
* In the absence of management, open and close the store and ensure it trades safely and legally
* Assist the management team in achieving profit targets by reducing costs and maximising sales
* Operate as part of the shop team, carrying out tasks necessary for the shop's success and smooth operation
* Support high standards of presentation on windows and the shop floor
* Help implement changes to ensure maximum sales
* Encourage and support stock donations from the public
* Actively demonstrate our values through your role
