Buyer
Location: Witney
Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Are you an experienced Buyer looking to join a small team but large company?
We're seeking a detail-oriented and commercially savvy Buyer to manage purchasing activities, source products, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain optimal stock levels. You'll play a key role in ensuring our supply chain meets customer demand while maintaining quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
* Issue and manage purchase orders using our MRP system
* Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability
* Negotiate contracts and pricing to meet company targets
* Collaborate across departments to forecast and fulfil purchasing needs
* Monitor supplier performance and manage improvements where necessary
* Maintain accurate stock levels to ensure supply without overstocking
What We're Looking For
* Experience in a Buyer or Purchasing role
* Strong negotiation and communication skills
* Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; MRP/ERP experience beneficial
* CIPS qualification desirable
